Indian auteur Anurag Kashyap has thrown his weight behind “Aakhri Experience” (The Last Ride), set to function as one of many market picks on the upcoming Clermont-Ferrand brief movie market.
The movie follows Aman, a Mumbai ride-share driver racing to safe dowry cash for his sister’s wedding ceremony, whose evening takes an sudden flip when he picks up a mysterious passenger – a Chudail (demonic witch). The supernatural encounter forces him to confront deeper truths about city survival and morality.
