At the very least 30 individuals have been killed in armed clashes between Sunni Bedouin tribal fighters and Druze militias in southern Syria, the nation’s inside ministry says.

The violence erupted within the predominantly Druze metropolis within the province of Suweida on Sunday, two days after a Druze service provider was reportedly kidnapped on the freeway to Damascus.
