A pilot has died after an Indian fighter jet crashed whereas performing a show at an airshow in Dubai, officers have mentioned.
The Indian Air Power mentioned in an announcement: “IAF deeply regrets the lack of life and stands firmly with the bereaved household on this time of grief.
“A court docket of inquiry is being constituted, to determine the reason for the accident.”
The Hindustan Aeronautics Ltds Tejas jet crashed about about 14:10 native time (10:10 GMT), in line with the Related Press.
Dubai’s Media Workplace and the UAE Ministry of Defence have mentioned firefighters and emergency providers have “responded quickly” to the incident and are managing the scenario on-site.
Video footage of the aftermath of the crash reveals black smoke rising into the air.
