The hockey participant who misplaced three relations in a mass taking pictures at a Rhode Island rink final month performed the position of hero for his workforce Wednesday evening.
Senior Colin Dorgan scored on a breakaway in double extra time, lifting Blackstone Valley Co-op to a 3-2 victory over Portsmouth and advancing into the Rhode Island Division 2 hockey remaining.
“Biggest second of my life,” Dorgan informed WPRI TV after his purpose despatched teammates pouring onto the ice in celebration and followers at Schneider Area in Windfall roaring with applause.
A month earlier, Dorgan’s brother, mom and grandfather have been killed when a shooter, recognized as Robert Dorgan, opened fireplace on spectators at Dennis M.
