MUNICH — Paris Saint-Germain supervisor Luis Enrique thanked the membership’s supporters for a “stunning” tribute to his late daughter Xana — who died at age 9 from bone most cancers in 2019 — after the French group clinched its first Champions League title with a 5-0 win against Inter Milan.
Enrique, who wore a black T-shirt honoring Xana through the recreation, was parading the Champions League trophy on the pitch when the PSG followers unfurled a tifo banner of Xana planting a blue-and-red PSG flag into the middle circle alongside her father.
The picture was impressed by {a photograph} of Enrique and Xana, then 5 years outdated, planting a Barcelona flag within the turf at Berlin’s Olympiastadion after the Spanish group gained the 2015 Champions League towards Juventus.

“It was very emotional,” Enrique instructed reporters in a postmatch information convention. “It was stunning to assume that the supporters thought of me and my household.
“I need not win a recreation or the Champions League to consider my daughter. I take into consideration her each day. She is with our household and I really feel her presence even after we are dropping.
“It’s about serious about what we had collectively, serious about the positives from the negatives for me and household.
“Xana is at all times with us. We at all times consider her, we love her. We feature her eternally in our hearts.
“I believe she would run amongst us right here. It is a fantastic thought and good to share it with household and mates.
