Veer Singh and Kali Devi, each building employees, had gone to a close-by village to purchase groceries when flash floods hit their residence within the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand.
Their household – three sons, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren – have since been lacking.
They’re among the many 100 folks lacking after the lethal floods devastated the state’s Dharali village on Tuesday.
Uttarakhand, which is positioned within the western Himalayas, is very susceptible to flash floods and landslides.
