Israeli officers say the goal is to guard communities in northern Israel from Hezbollah assaults. On Sunday, the Israeli army stated the chief of the final employees, Lt Gen Eyal Zamir, had authorised plans “to advance the focused floor operations and strikes” towards Hezbollah, and that this is able to be a “extended operation”.
