Leqaa Kordia, a Palestinian girl detained in the USA after participating in pro-Palestine demonstrations at Columbia College in 2024, has been launched after a 12 months in custody.
The 33-year-old, who grew up within the occupied West Financial institution earlier than shifting to the US in 2016, was held within the state of Texas since March final 12 months.
“I don’t know what to say. I’m free! I’m free! Lastly, after one 12 months,” a smiling Kordia instructed reporters after rising from the detention centre.
