The US State Division says it has “credible stories” that Hamas is planning an “imminent” assault on civilians in Gaza, which it says would violate the ceasefire settlement.

A press release launched on Saturday stated a deliberate assault towards Palestinians can be a “direct and grave” violation of the ceasefire settlement and “undermine the numerous progress achieved via mediation efforts”.
