Cell phone footage has emerged that seems to contradict Israel’s account of why troopers opened hearth on a convoy of ambulances and a fireplace truck on March 23, killing 15 rescue staff.
The video was revealed by the Palestine Crimson Crescent Society (PRCS), which mentioned it was obtained from the telephone of a paramedic who was killed.
It reveals the autos transferring in darkness with headlights and emergency flashing lights switched on – earlier than coming underneath hearth.
The Israel Protection Forces (IDF) preliminary assertion mentioned “a number of uncoordinated autos have been recognized advancing suspiciously towards IDF troops with out headlights or emergency alerts. IDF troops then opened hearth on the suspected autos.”
A surviving paramedic beforehand advised the BBC that the ambulances have been clearly marked and had their inside and exterior lights on.
