The mom of a British-Egyptian activist imprisoned in Cairo has been warned by her physician that her life is in danger if she continues a starvation strike she started nearly 5 months in the past to press for her son’s launch.

Laila Soueif, 68, the mom of Alaa Abdel Fattah, was admitted to a hospital in London on Monday with dangerously low blood sugar, blood stress and sodium ranges, in keeping with her household.
