Human rights activists have known as on authorities in Iran to launch a girl who was detained after eradicating her garments at a college, in what they stated was a protest towards the obligatory hijab legal guidelines.

A video surfaced on social media on Saturday displaying the girl in her underwear sitting on some steps after which strolling calmly alongside a pavement on the Science and Analysis Department of Islamic Azad College in Tehran.

In a second video, the girl seems to take away her underwear. Shortly afterwards, plainclothes brokers are seen forcibly detaining her and pushing her right into a automotive.

Azad College stated the girl suffered from a “psychological dysfunction” and had been taken to a “psychiatric hospital”.

Many Iranians on social media questioned the declare and portrayed her actions as a part of the “Girl, Life, Freedom” motion that has seen many ladies publicly defy the legal guidelines requiring them to cowl their hair and put on lengthy, loose-fitting clothes.
