LANDOVER, Md. — The Washington Commanders did not waste any time being aggressive — and quarterback Jayden Daniels made positive they have been rewarded along with his twenty third landing cross of the season.
With 9 minutes, 37 seconds left within the first quarter, Washington confronted fourth-and-2 on the Atlanta 7-yard line. Coach Dan Quinn did not hesitate to go for the primary down and Daniels took it from there.

The play left security Mike Hughes in battle: if he stayed again, Daniels may have hit tight finish Ben Sinnott within the flat; as a substitute, Hughes was caught within the center and Zaccheaus cradled his third landing catch in two weeks.
Washington security Quan Martin intercepted quarterback Michael Penix on the primary collection and returned the ball 30 yards to the Falcons’ 38-yard line, organising Daniels’ landing cross for a 7-0 lead.
