The person has been stripped of his accreditation and should go away the nation inside two weeks, Russia’s international ministry stated on Thursday.
In a press release, the ministry added that it had summoned British cost d’affaires Danae Dholakia over the matter.
The BBC has requested the Overseas Workplace for a response to the allegations.
