Vogue cowl star Sabrina Carpenter has arrived on the 2025 MTV VMAs, and we’re begging for a magnificence tour. Wearing a semi-sheer pink lace Valentino costume, her arms wrapped in a lilac marabou boa, the singer had us in “Tears”—in a great way.
As for the small print behind her look? In relation to glam, Carpenter’s workforce is elite. Carolina Gonzalez on make-up, Evanie Frausto on hair, and Zola Ganzorigt—the girl behind this summer season’s polka dot nail craze—on nails.

Ganzorigt confirms that for the VMAs, simply any previous French manicure wouldn’t do. As a substitute, she began with the “’90s deep French”—a mode she introduced again earlier this summer season on Kylie Jenner. The inspiration? A difficulty of Nails journal from June 1997. From there, the nail artist positioned multicolored rhinestones to cowl up the smile line (a.ok.a. the white a part of a conventional French manicure), taking it from bonjour to bijou.
