America has charged a former Indian intelligence officer for allegedly directing a foiled plot to assassinate an American citizen who advocates for Khalistan – an unbiased Sikh state that may be carved out of India.

The US Legal professional’s Workplace for the Southern District of New York stated on Thursday that it had registered “murder-for-hire and cash laundering costs” towards Vikash Yadav for attempting to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
